Our Staff
Jack and Jill Preschool has seven permanent staff members that have a wealth of experience and knowledge working within the field of early childhood and specializing in preparing children for school.
Molly Hewett
Diploma Teaching Early Childhood (Charles Sturt University)
Bachelor Education Early Childhood (University Western Sydney)
Director and Early Childhood Teacher in the Kookaburra RoomMolly has been teaching children aged three to five years for over 15 years and has worked in preschool’s, childcare centers, early intervention centers and primary schools in a teaching and directing capacity. Molly likes to make lots of mess in the classroom with the kids.
Christine Watkins
Advanced Child Care Worker in the Kookaburra RoomChristine has been working at Jack and Jill Preschool as a child care worker for over 15 years. Christine loves to get in and have fun with the kids and has been known to dance like crazy with the kids at our discos.
Denise Thompson
Advanced Child Care Worker in the Kookaburra RoomDenise has been working at Jack and Jill Preschool for several years and is often referred to as “Mrs Kodak” she loves taking photos of the children to share with the parents at the end of the day.
Di Linhart
Special Needs Support Worker in the Kookaburra RoomDi has been at Jack & Jill Preschool for many years as both a child care worker and a special needs support worker. Di currently helps us to support our children with additional needs in the classroom so that these children have a rich and full experience at preschool. Di is loved by all the children. Di also helps us out as a casual when ever someone is away.

Early Childhood Teacher in the Kangaroo RoomCatherine has been teaching as an early childhood teacher for the past 20 years specializing in preschool education. Catherine has a wealth of experience and knowledge as an early childhood teacher and provides a high quality educational program for the children and is passionate about our new playground gardens and exploring the natural environment with the children.
Nicole Partridge
Advanced Child Care Worker in the Kangaroo RoomNicole has been working in the kangaroo room for many years and is loved by all the children. Nicole has great artistic talent and helps the children to complete large group murals to display. Nicole is also very sporty and encourages the children to engage in active play in our outdoor environment.
Judy Houghton
Special Needs Support Worker in the Kangaroo and Kookaburra RoomJudy has just recently joined our team as a special needs support worker. Judy currently helps us to support our children with additional needs in the classroom so that these children have a rich and full experience at preschool. Judy’s gentle nature ensures that the children love coming to preschool. Judy also helps us out as a casual when ever someone is away.
Lola Barker
Childcare worker in the preschoolLola has worked at Jack & Jill Preschool for many years and is a crucial part of our team. Lola helps us care and look after our preschool and does lots of work behind the scenes.
Cherie Lemcke
Clerical AdministratorCherie works in our office and takes all our enrolments and handles our preschool fees. Cherie is very friendly and only to happy to help you with any questions you may have.
